Kontex LANA Imabari Towel
LANA takes its name from the Italian word for knit. It has a lightness and softness that feels closer to wool knitwear than a conventional towel, with a gentle volume and a comfortable, reassuring touch.
The fine three-dimensional waffle weave gives the towel good breathability and a smooth feel against the skin, making it suitable for use throughout the year.

Founded in 1934 in Imabari, Ehime (Japan's most celebrated towel-making region), Kontex has spent nearly a century perfecting the craft of the towel. Each piece is woven on traditional low-speed looms using over 150 custom-developed yarn blends, then washed with pure soft water drawn from local river systems. The result is a towel of exceptional absorbency, rapid drying, and enduring quality, crafted with care for both the user and the environment.
