COTTON LINEN CLOTH is a Japanese Imabari kitchen cloth by Kontex, woven in Ehime, Japan from an even 50% cotton and 50% linen blend, in a single 43 × 43 cm / 16.9 × 16.9 in square. Three colours.
It brings together the easy softness of cotton and the crisp, quick-drying feel of linen. Made for daily kitchen use, it is suitable as a dish cloth, tea towel, hand towel or general household cloth.
For those who find 100% linen a little stiff and 100% cotton slower to dry, this cloth offers a practical middle ground for everyday use.

Founded in 1934 in Imabari, Ehime (Japan's most celebrated towel-making region), Kontex has spent nearly a century perfecting the craft of the towel. Each piece is woven on traditional low-speed looms using over 150 custom-developed yarn blends, then washed with pure soft water drawn from local river systems. The result is a towel of exceptional absorbency, rapid drying, and enduring quality, crafted with care for both the user and the environment.
