19세기경 이탈리아 남부 풀리아주 그로타글리에에서 제작된 것으로 보이는, 현지에서 치아를라(ciarla)라고 불리는 양손잡이 장식 항아리입니다.
주로 실내 장식용으로 사용되었습니다.
아이보리빛 백유 위에 푸른 선을 큼직하게 둘러 간결하게 장식했습니다.
살짝 기울어진 모습에는 정겨운 매력이 있습니다. 몸체의 둥근 부착 흔적과 손잡이로 흘러내린 푸른 유약 등 제작 과정에서 우연히 생긴 흔적이 이 작은 고도자기에 고유한 개성을 더합니다.
