南イタリア・プーリア州で見つけた、20世紀前半のプラントポット。
元は乾物や食品の保存用壺であったが、後年プラントポットとして転用されたと思われます。
特徴的な斑点模様は、南イタリア（プーリアやシチリア）、スペイン南部などで見られる伝統技法のひとつで、ハーブの葉を束ねて釉薬に浸し、器に叩きつけるようにして模様をつけています。
