Puglia

Origin

Southern Italy, Puglia. This land, where Mediterranean light spreads across dry earth, has nurtured its own unique ceramic culture for centuries. In particular, the town of Grottaglie, known as the "Town of Ceramics," has produced countless everyday vessels that combine practicality with rustic beauty. Deeply connected to the local climate and way of life, these pieces radiate a quiet presence that grows with use, despite their lack of ostentation. At ambiant, we introduce antique Puglia ceramics that have accompanied local life and accumulated time through our sourcing trips to the Puglia region.
