About Antiques

Condition

Traces of time

Wear, scratches, chips, cracks, crazing in the glaze. These marks record an object having been used, kept and passed from hand to hand.

We do not polish or restore them away. Each piece is offered exactly as it is today, with the time it has lived through left intact.

How we describe condition

Notable damage — chips, cracks, or earlier repairs — is described individually in the Condition field on each product page.

Very small marks and general signs of use cannot always be written out in full, so please also study the photographs. Colours may appear different depending on your display.

Before purchasing

Each antique is one of a kind and is sold in its existing condition. We are generally unable to accept returns or refunds for condition that was already visible or disclosed before purchase.

If new damage occurs during shipping and the carrier confirms liability, we will assist you with the carrier’s compensation process. Please contact us within 2 days of delivery.

If there is anything you are unsure about, please contact us before purchasing. We would be happy to provide additional photographs or details.
