Calvello, sur de Italia, siglo XIX.

Hermoso paisaje con un bonito color verde claro y esmalte que gotea.

Location

Calvello / Italy

Calvello is an old pottery town tucked into the mountains of Basilicata in Southern Italy. In this dry landscape and quiet inland climate, its vessels were made not for display, but for daily life. Grey-toned glazes, gently wavering outlines, and traces of time spent in use. Calvello pottery carries the rustic character of Southern Italian folk ceramics and the quiet beauty found only in everyday vessels.
