1. ABOUT SHIPPING

All orders are shipped internationally from Japan via FedEx or Japan Post.

For Kontex orders shipped with FedEx, items are typically packed in a vinyl shipping bag known as a “FedEx Pak.”

Orders placed from September 18, 2026 are scheduled for dispatch from October 23, 2026 onward.
*Please note that additional processing time may be required during periods of high order volume.

2. SHIPPING COST

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on the total weight, package dimensions, and destination.
Available shipping methods, including costs and estimated delivery times, will be clearly displayed before completing your purchase.

Air Packet - Japan Post

Eligible EU Kontex destinations: €10 for orders up to €149.99 in the nine euro-priced destination countries listed below; 75 DKK for orders up to 1,100 DKK to Denmark; 110 SEK for orders up to 1,650 SEK to Sweden. These limits determine checkout availability; they are not the postal parcel weight limit. Each Air Packet parcel must be no more than 2 kg. Larger eligible orders may be shipped in multiple parcels with separate tracking numbers. The final options are shown at checkout.

Air Packet includes tracking. There is generally no compensation for loss or damage in transit. Air Packet may be unavailable depending on order value or weight.

3. CUSTOMS DUTY

United States, European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland — FedEx (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid)

For FedEx shipments to the United States, European Union member states, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, customs duties and import taxes are calculated, displayed, and collected at checkout or covered by us.

Because these fees are prepaid, customers should not normally receive additional duty or import tax requests upon delivery.

Air Packet

United States: Air Packet is DDP. Where duties and import taxes apply, they are calculated and collected at checkout.

Selected EU destinations — Air Packet (DDP): For eligible Kontex orders to France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Finland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Estonia, Malta, Denmark and Sweden, Air Packet is shipped duty-prepaid via Zonos and Japan Post. Applicable duties and import taxes are collected at checkout or covered by us. Other EU destinations, including Germany, are not eligible for this Air Packet service.

All other destinations: Unless explicitly marked DDP at checkout, Air Packet is generally DAP and applicable import duties, taxes, clearance fees and local handling charges may be payable by the recipient.

Other shipping methods, including EMS, follow the delivery terms shown at checkout.

Other Countries

For destinations outside the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, duties and taxes vary depending on local regulations.
Unless otherwise specified at checkout, shipments are generally sent under DAP terms, meaning import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

4. RETURNS, WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS, REFUSED SHIPMENTS, AND CANCELLATIONS

Return and withdrawal rights depend on destination and product type. Mandatory statutory rights take precedence, including eligible distance purchases in the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, and Iceland where applicable. Please see our Refund Policy for full terms.

Where no mandatory withdrawal right applies, regular non-antique items may be returned for customer convenience if requested within 2 days of delivery and if unused, unwashed, and suitable for resale. Antiques are not returnable for customer convenience where no mandatory withdrawal right applies.

If a shipment is returned because delivery was refused, an address was incorrect, the parcel was not received, or DAP import charges were not paid, any refund may be reduced by actual unrecoverable shipping, return, customs, or payment costs only where permitted by applicable law.

Please contact us as soon as possible for cancellations; fulfillment status and applicable statutory rights determine whether cancellation is possible.

5. INFORMATION

FedEx shipments may be delivered via doorstep delivery service.
If a parcel is lost, damaged or marked delivered but cannot be located, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier. The carrier's insurance limitations do not restrict mandatory consumer rights or our obligations under applicable law.
