DETAILS
An everyday bowl for serving salads, bean dishes, pasta, etc.
The single-stroke spiral pattern painted on the inside is one of the improvised decorative designs commonly seen in southern Italy from the late 18th century to the first half of the 19th century.
The glaze has peeled away, revealing the base metal and the simple patterns that appear within the rings make me think of the time that has passed.

Origin
Italian antique ceramics quietly bear the imprint of the land's climate and history.
The rustic vessels born from the dry earth of Southern Italy, the refined designs nurtured in the North.
At ambiant, we focus on introducing pieces that embody the "beauty of use"—vessels that have been used in daily life—rather than decorative beauty.
