Antique Provence Pitcher "Gargoulette"
ambiantWhite tin-glazed jug found in the south of France.
This distinctive shape with two handles was mainly used in the Mediterranean region to hold water or wine.
The same yellow- or green-glazed jugs (Gargoulette, Cruche) common in southern French ceramics are relatively common, but the white tin glaze and small size are good.
