COTTON LINEN WAFFLE Imabari Towels Kontex - Authentic Japanese Luxury
This waffle-weave towel combines the smooth texture of linen with the softness of organic cotton. Linen can be a little stiff until you get used to it, but by mixing it with cotton, it becomes soft and durable right from the start.
In addition to the waffle weave, which dries faster than regular towels, the towels are made using 30% linen, which is said to be the most absorbent and quick-drying of all fibers, so they dry quickly and are very hygienic, even when hung indoors, as they dry before any unpleasant odors develop.
Why Choose COTTON Imabari Towels?

Founded in 1934 in Imabari, Ehime — Japan's most celebrated towel-making region — Kontex has spent nearly a century perfecting the craft of the towel. Each piece is woven on traditional low-speed looms using over 150 custom-developed yarn blends, then washed with pure soft water drawn from local river systems. The result is a towel of exceptional absorbency, rapid drying, and enduring quality — crafted with care for both the user and the environment.
