A Japanese Imabari waffle towel by Kontex, made in Japan with a soft cotton waffle weave, excellent absorbency, and a clean everyday design. Suitable as a bath towel, face towel, or hand towel, it combines traditional Japanese towel craftsmanship with a modern, minimal feel.
Kontex BRERA Imabari Waffle Towel
BRERA is a plush waffle-weave towel made by layering multiple colors of cotton to create a rich depth of color. The large waffle texture has less surface contact with the skin, so it feels fresh and comfortable even when wet.
Although it is made from 100% cotton, BRERA has a crisp, linen-like wiping feel. It is especially well suited to people who like the airy texture of waffle towels.

Founded in 1934 in Imabari, Ehime — Japan's most celebrated towel-making region — Kontex has spent nearly a century perfecting the craft of the towel. Each piece is woven on traditional low-speed looms using over 150 custom-developed yarn blends, then washed with pure soft water drawn from local river systems. The result is a towel of exceptional absorbency, rapid drying, and enduring quality — crafted with care for both the user and the environment.
