Soft absorbent 100% organic cotton Japanese Imabari towel by Kontex, botanical-dyed for calm natural color. Suitable as hand towel, face towel, bath towel, and everyday towel. Sizes HK to L (23 x 23 cm to 70 x 130 cm).
The gauze-side yarn is dyed with plant-based pigments: Charcoal Grey with bamboo charcoal and Ivory with black tea. The calm tones blend naturally into everyday interiors.
GRAPH is woven slowly on a vintage TOYODA loom to preserve the natural softness of the cotton without relying on chemical softeners. It is then carefully washed with spring water from the Ishizuchi mountain range for absorbency from the first use and a texture designed to last.

Founded in 1934 in Imabari, Ehime (Japan's most celebrated towel-making region), Kontex has spent nearly a century perfecting the craft of the towel. Each piece is woven on traditional low-speed looms using over 150 custom-developed yarn blends, then washed with pure soft water drawn from local river systems.
